I've been waiting for these bars (20" 3/8 .050 sprocket nose) to be available with the Stihl mount for a while, and now they finally are available, so I ordered a couple and the came last week.

Put one on an Asian 440 BB, and it balances perfectly and cuts real well. Can't comment on the durability at this point in time, but there are no visible signs of wear yet, and at under $20 you just can't beat the price.

I threw the bar on my postal scale and it is relatively light (I like that) at 2 lbs 7.3 oz.

For comparison, a Stihl ES bar is 2 lb 13.5 oz, and I find they make 60 + 70 cc saws nose heavy.

My Stihl E bar is 2 lb 4.6 oz, and my Sugi Light is 2 lb 3.1 oz. (for the price of the Sugi Light you can get 4 or 5 of these).

Hope to give it some good workouts soon and see how it holds up, but so far I'm very pleased with it.

Did you get some of the Raisman chain too?

I think it is mostly related to the size of the nose. I believe the Stihl Yellow bars (not kickback reduced) have 6, while the Green bars (kickback reduced) have less.

The only time I had one fail (it was a 6 rivet) was when I was not using good bar oil. If you bury them in wood, they will jam up, and you will have to work them free. That is why I prefer to use a bar that goes through the round.

Just out of curiosity what in your opinion is "not good bar oil" and "good bar oil" ?

Good to know. If the Stihls go on sale, I'm in for more! But even at the regular price, they are a great deal.

I'm impressed that they balance so well on the 440, seem to be well made, and have a decent size Oil hole. I've been enlarging the oil holes on my Stihl Light bars, they are just too small.

I have a 20" Raisman bar on my Husky 257. It loves it and so do I. Fabulous balance. Czed and I are on the same page with MustangMike.

Wow that’s surprising 6 is good, the tsumura bars have 4 rivet tips. Oregon powermatch has 5. I ordered a woodland pro bar recently from baileys, 6 rivet tip too.
How's the woodland pro bar for wait I was thinking about getting a 32" if they make one that size haven't check yet I always run stihl ES bars but would like to try something different.
