I dont think ive ever seen or heard about a quality issue with a meteor piston. Almost always have positive attributes like wider skirts. Tolerances are alwags very precise.

Final cuts for Ryan’s saw
Got bit starting it. Now I'd like to know where compression is at she's had a few tanks through -- although new meteor and cabre ring.... So it may gain more after some more run time?

It sounds great on the vid. Awesome Dan.

Both saws sound strong Dan, don’t blame you for not wanting to let them go. Hopefully you’ll get your own sooner rather than later. I have set of 257 cases with crank, its a 95’ model so it has the beefed up lower connecting rod bearing. It’s a pretty bare bones start for a builder but if you want them they’re yours.

They were actually given to me by @Tpagel for a few parts I needed for my own 262 build, just trying to pay it forward. I definitely feel like Dan needs them more than I do and it would be dirty of me to sell them since they were given to me.

Thank you Josh! I’ll keep it in mind if I need parts later, but I have a complete original KS 87 carb 262 I need to rebuild. [emoji41] Just need to find the time...
