I have a Dixon 2654GT. Its hydrostatic is the Tuftorq K66Y. And it's doing something new. You let off the directional pedals and it no longer eases to a stop. Its extremely sudden. In reverse its pronouncly severe. I have zero experience with hydrostatic transmissions. So, feel free to overly explain things. Break out the crayons if you like. Any and all ideas are welcome as to why it's doing this. Please help. Lol

With the machine off do the pedals seem like they move easier or faster, especially on return? There may be a damper, think small shock absorber, that slows the movement of the pedals so it's not jerky when you let off. That could be broken or missing.

The clip in the attached pic that holds the shock absorber on, is missing on mine. This pic is from my buddy with the same mower. But Orange. I replaced it with a Eclip that is M6 in size and a washer from my random hardware box. Works as designed now. Thanks.received_500243404158496.jpeg
