As far as I know, the 3120 was the first of the still somewhat current 3-series (1988) - and it may well be the last one to go as well?

Pushing 210psi after 6 tanks.of course some of that could be carbon build up from the motul 800 at 50:1.saw is perfect on the tune but the oil started cooking to the top of the piston,exhaust port floor and transfers.

Sounds excessive/counterproductive to me - but I'm not an expert...
