Have to admit it's a little intimidating posting up port work. But I started this cylinder today with the intent of posting pics. It was a good way to challenge myself. I never do sloppy work but I did go back and clean up a few imperfections after taking the first pics ;-) Damn camera can be pretty critical
Lol. Yep cameras normally don't lie.

I wanted to ask, hope yall don't mind too much.

Intake side, when porting the intake how much overlap do you go with for the skirt on each side of the intake?

I try leaving 1mm on intake and exhaust if it's under 70% bore width. Just be mindful of where your ring ends are

I should have added dolmar 7910 to the equation. Piston to wall is good if that helps get it wider

Like huskihl said 1mm on each side and pay close attention to where the rings are located before you start porting and mark the location pins with a ink pin or pencil on top of the piston and mark the ports on both sides up to the base then you will get a good idea how far you can go.

I have about .060 on both sides now....

When I look into the intake I can see the rig end pin, so the gap is inside the intake, or exactly on the edge to where it is ported. I need to throw this on the saw and see for sure, but that is what it looks like outside the saw.

Anything to worry about?

Yes.
Put it on the saw to be sure.
I wouldn’t be happy about being able to see the ring end.

I need to pull the carb housing to get a better view, but I think its in the intake.

I might have to move the ring end, if its possible
