You need a MOFO 036 or 034S!
I really would like a complete restore on the 034 with an 036 jug, powder coat, the works. Then send it to one of the magicians. That 036 @drf256 did up is just sick. Really is a nice thin platform. Just not sure I could handle a job that intense, and afford to have someone else do it.

Gonna get him a little Makita 3200. Seems like a nice little saw for what it is. Very light and not a lot of power. Gonna start him on the small stuff. Gonna have to jump on those too. Has a couple left with bar nuts.

Oh I still hold on to it for him lol
I have little Husky 35 that fits him alot better.

I like the way Stihl does it
Bars fit 026 to 066. Don't need anything special. Just my preference Ryan.
I would have preferred they have their bars fit 5100 to 9010 saws. Much easier to follow.

What about the 170,250, and 084 and 880s ?

The 562 is a touch smaller and lighter than 6100 and it has a large mount. Not saying the 562 is better or the 6100 worse. What I’m trying to say is I think if they changed the studs to large mount it would hardly add weight. The small mount limits bar options.

LOL. THERE are always a couple of exceptions.
Pretty much what I was trying to say Mason. Unified bar studs to simplify bars for Brand specific saws

Yet you're adamant about 16" on your 50cc saws, 20 on 60cc saws, 24 on 70cc saws. Running with that theory, you'd only ever have a 20 on it anyway or you'd grab a larger saw.
K095 is available to 24" almost anywhere, and 28-32" pop up occasionally

You can get K095 up to 28" with the odd 32" here and there..how big of a bar do you want on a 60cc saw ?

Yessir. But it is nice to be able to use same bar on 026 and 066. Just my preference. I occasionally do different things, but not always.

Cool I'm sure this would carry more weight in a Stihl thread.
