It is sezied up so I am sure it is going to need a new cylinder and piston. I did a internet search and see a couple companies make the piston cylinder kits.

Is there a certin one I should look for? Any I should pass on as they arn't so good?

Yes I know they are not a great saw but the owner said it is special as it was his dads. NO he had no idea why it seazed as he was useing a 50:1 mix. but he had been having problems getting it started.

I'l do a carb clean and rebuild when I do the cylinder and piston kit.

Have you taken it apart yet? Might just need a piston and seals.

If its scored it will need a p/c. They are aluminum bore with chrome piston.

Best bet for parts is to buy a whole saw of the same model. Should be able to find a non runner for about $10.00. I'm pretty sure many of the models all use the same engine even though they are all labeled with different model numbers. I've rarely seen a bad engine in these saws. Usually fuel lines and carb kits get them running.

Very common saw on craigslist. Spray some wd down the plug hole and let it sit for a day or two, sometimes they free up if its not scored.

Take your pick. I doubt anybody here would put that kind of work or money into one of those saws to have any experience with a specific kit. That is most likey why your question has been unanswered.

I doubt you could find a brand name on a kit...it's either OEM or generic Chinese AM. Bet you'd have to luck into NOS to find OEM.
