Hey guys, looking at getting a long bar for my 1000, according Mike acres site it takes a D005 mount, it appears that the D009 mount is really close minus a couple oil holes.

Does anybody know if the D009 will fit.

I'd like 42 inch Oregon power match 3/8 63 full skip. I think that will be the best setup, unless ya'll have a better idea. Thanks!

That being said, if the D009 will fit without modification...... you probably have a buyer

FWIW if you use the bar plates for a 2100 Husqvarna you can use Husqvarna bars .If you use the McCulloch plates a 10 series bar will fit although finding a 42" bar for a 10 series Mac won't be an easy task .

A 42" bar might be a tad too much for that saw .I'd lean more towards 32" or 36" which would be easier to find than a 42" .I've ran mine with a 32" and it did okay but the saw needs some attention because it doesn't do good for it's size displacement .

BTW bar plates for a 2100 Husky are easy to find and relatively inexpensive .Not so for a p100/Pm 1000 .Those who have them are very proud of them .

Thanks for that little tidbit. Maybe 42 is a bit too much

A strong running 100 cc saw should be fine with 3/8 42" bar. .404 would make it work a little harder. Skip 3/8 and don't look back

Well, it's a pretty high compression saw but it is all factory, I think it's got a lot of torque personally but It only has a 24 inch bar on it now

I have a McCulloch 10 Series bar on mine and everything works, I believe that is a D176 mount. I don't know the D005 or D009. Is one of them the small Husqvarna mount?

I have one used long bar hanging in the shop that says "Echo" in the D176 mount which should fit, I will try to remember and check the exact length but I'm sure it is at least 36"
