I was talking to my Oregon rep and he informed me that Oregon and Carlton are now owned by the same. Company. All the chain is made in the Oregon factory now and just rebadged/boxed. Probably old news to some but not to me so thought I’d share it is all
Oregon may make Carlton chain, but it must be still Carlton design, cuz it don't look anything like LGX.
Unless I got real old stuff.

I agree completely, I’m just relaying what I was told. They are 2 different chains by the looks of them but he claimed they came out of the same plant

You guys aren't keeping up.

Blount was sold to American Securities and P2 Capital Partners. Dec 2015.

They weren't doing well in their international markets due to the strong American dollar.

Yes and went from a public owned and traded company. Back to a privately owned company in that acquisition.

Here’s the other reason they use to have forestry equipment such as Prentice, Fabtek, CTR, and hydro ax which was sold to Cat in 2007 which is now all being sold again.
