Whilst perusing the classifieds, I happened to find a Toyota Hilux that caught my interest. Low and behold, it has a pretty cool license plate. See pic.

Ι really dig the Hilux. They have a great record for their diesels and reliability. It's one rugged 4WD--bigger than a Tacoma and smaller than the Tundra.

This one in the pic is a D4D 3.0L diesel making around 180BHP.

The Nissan Navara and the Mitsubishi L200 are really nice trucks too...both come standard with diesels here in the EU.

I got a solution for that--I always buy second hand. That way they ain't getting any of my cents.

Cool thing about the plates here is that they stay with the car for life, so whatever plate you see on the car is what you will have when you buy it.

Right now I am holding out for the return of the Ford Ranger to North America. If it is truly like the Aussie one and they bring the little diesel over here I will be giving it a real hard look.

We've got the Aussie Ranger with the diesel. It's also a bad little truck. It's not so little any more either. The new ones are a good sized ride. Same with some of the other trucks

This is exactly what I am hoping for.
