WANTED Olympyk 980 clean cylinder & Olympyk 970 or 980 saws :)

Hello,
I am looking for a good cylinder or cylinder & piston for an Olympyk 980. Also anyone that would have any Olympyk
970 or 980 rebuilder/project saws or runners too. Thanks !

They do not come around too often, If you have the cylinder maybe you can salvage it. There are usually pistons on ebay. The john Deere Cs71 and cs81 are the exact same saw just green.

I do have the cylinder, unfortunately it is junk. The scoring eroded through the plating and beyond in one spot It's just too far gone. The John Deere saws are mostly the same, but the decomp cylinders they come with are not as good as the original ymoyk ones. The compression was less and port timing is different. They don't seem to run as good as the older ones, but I would still put my saw back together with one for now. Really a shame, this 980 that I have is virtually "mint" condition. Someone straight gassed it... Really want to get it back together.
