I picked us an old Stihl USG in really good shape. Its working but I have yet to mount it and test it on chain. The cutting head isn’t moveable like the new USG model. Looks like it’s mounted at a 40° angle. Is there anything I should know before cutting. Thanks. I’m very new to this page so I hope this is in the right place to post. Anyone know the model numbers for the Stihl disc for 3/8 and 3/8pico?

Ok it is an HOS. Sorry my bad. Didn’t even know Stihl made something like this till I found it for sale for $100. Went to my favorite Stihl dealer had he had the cutting and shaping stones in stock. It’s not the closest dealer to me but they do quality work and the parts counter people know what they are doing. 58F0A3C3-B1BF-431A-87B0-49DEF5626499.jpeg

Stihl stone wheels work great. I had an HOS and regret getting rid of it a bunch of yrs ago. It wld have fit nicely into my 3 grinder lineup.
I know makes a raker grinder wheel also. Not sure of #. They also make a foot operated clamping system that im sure will fit on the HOS as it does on the USG.
