The Bing does pretty well even against heavy mods. I’m still running a Bing on Dolkivarna (ported bbk 395xp p&c inside a makita 9000 chassis). More carb is always better but the Bing should run it. I’ve been thinking of adding a Stockel k&n stack to mine. I’d like to see what you use for a bigger carb if you do a swap.

Also the choke lever is quite similar to a 111/115/520... in a pinch I’m sure one of those could be functional.

Tossed you a pm on the spare Ugly Betty parts. I have the perfect project for them to assist with. Might also need a blue 550/5600 clutch cover from you or AJS depending on who can find one.

They do have some grunt. I ran the big blue smurf at Dans gtg last year. It was still new but took to a four foot oak like a champ.

Hey thanks, Mike. It's got a few bugs I have to work out, but I really like it.

Nothing pretty but a few tuning cuts. I only had that bar in 3002 mount. I had ordered 79xx bar studs, but the 9000 case wasn't tapped to fit them.

I ended up doing some mods to run 3003 studs in the D009 stud mounts today. I like it much better now that I can run my 3003 Stihl bars on it.

I have to take the clutch and oiler out tomorrow and see whats up with the oiling.
