Steal parts are higher than giraffe ass it seems....
Although huskys have some pricey bits as well...

Don't have a good Stihl dealer near me but have a good Husqvarna dealer, kinda tilts the table a little.

I started out with huskys but the steals have worked their way in.
I'm not blinded by brand, I base like and dislike on a saw by its performance.
Built a 461 that I really liked, wish I could've kept it after running it.
Then built a 372 right after, ditto on that one.

Then there is Ebay...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stihl-066-Chainsaw-With-Brand-New-Genuine-Stihl-25-C-hain-Bar-And-Chaine/122936895527?_trkparms=pageci:7b918672-141a-11e8-ae7e-74dbd1805930|parentrq:a548b46b1610ab6b481eddc3fff9f4e5|iid:1&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236

Please note: The chain bar will be removed for a postage and the buyer is responsible to placed back on.

I don't know what this guy is thinking laying that kind of responsibility on a buyer...
Link not working for me...

edit : works on laptop

Further cleaning...
Getting a total rebuild...
Bearing had a slight notchy feel to it...
Figured it was a bit of grit from cleaning but I was this far... So it's going to be all new... Then for sale so..... Probably ported too...
