-33c/-27f with windchill feels like -44c/-47f.

I thought it was cold here the past few day.
Luckly its a balmy -14 c here today.

I went out for about 1/2 hour this morning because it warmed up to -10f, with a wind chill that is very EXCITING. Only a hot cup of coffee dumped in your lap can wake you up quicker. I've done that too.

+ 18 here now, mid to high 20's tomorrow, and single digit's by Monday with high of + 26. not counting the wind chill. Thursday morning was + 08 down here in this hole. ( Brrrrrrr!! )

We had 1/2" this morning and I thought that was to much. ( I hate snow )

Have you considered infrared gas heaters, we have a blue flame and infrared heater in the barn and the infrared heater puts off more heat that the blue flame. The blue flame one is getting changed out this weekend.

Yes, sure have, but we don't have any wall space left here to use one, except where the small one is that you see in the pictures that is in the bath room. When grandpa built this old house they had it where there was a stove or a fire place in every room, so the heat will not circulate from room to room.

It does look to be the same size. How much more efficient are they then the one I have, we have had it in the bath room for years to help out the wall mount electric for quick heat when we need to take a shower.

Ok, last of the BS about snow, I know that's not what this thread is for but I couldn't resist posting this. We are off to a good snow season up here. A nearby town for 5.2ft in 48 hours recently, they have 10' in the month of Dec and 12' for the season.

Like I said, we have the gas infrared heater and the blue flame heater in the barn, the infrared puts out more heat. The only reason we have a blue flame is cause someone told my dad they put out more heat. So when the blower finally died in his old infrared heater he got a blue flame. After one month that blue flame came out and he got another infrared heater. He said it didn't heat as good so it ended up in the barn. Well now it's coming out of the barn cause it aint worth a crap.

A nice 48 here now in mid-Ga...sunny and clear, not a single cloud in the sky. F-15 Strike Eagles have been taking off left and right (pilots getting required flight time/hours, etc)...get about 50 feet off the deck, pull up vertical, afterburners fully kicked, and go slam outta sight within a handful of seconds!

Jason, enjoy that nice summer weather down there, you could send one of them F-15's up here to pick me up and take me to a warmer place. 12 degrees here now. Only take a few minutes to get here. lol!!!
