Modern:
- PS-7900/7910 (or a 64xx/73xx and convert to a 7910) fast and powerful all-rounder
- PS-9010 - torque monster
- PS-420/421 , PS-5105 - fast limbing saws

Old school:
- 166

No other old ones other than the 166? Or is it just because they are most desirable"most expensive". Want some older ones to mess with a little. Might look for one of the homelite saws made by solo also.

120S/Si ; 143 ; 153 ; KMS-4 come to mind.

The 166 is simply THE Dolmar to have, that doesn't mean the other models are no good.

As You can see in my signature I like the 103/105/108 series, especially the 105 because she's a top handle and she was my first gasoline powered saw I ever used.
They are built 1985., 40cc, 1.7kW/2.1HP and built to last - unless they get straight gassed.

It's a matter of preference.

get the 143,much more badass than the big lazy 166. I love running the 166,dont get me wrong,but the 143 is a much better power to weight ratio. also check out the 120SI
