I am getting hammered here in RI. How about you Dan?

What did you guys end up with over there Jeff?

Only 2" here then it stopped. Got all kinds of wind though. Could actually use some more snow cover with the temps w are getting. Today and tomorrow won't get out of the single digits here.

While all this is going on in the Northeast, I’m in Norway due to my dad passing away. Winter here has been way milder than CT.
In my house in CT the furnace has stopped running 3 times while I’ve been here since late November, and my friends have gotten it going again each time. Last time they had a professional come in and take a look and replace a few things. I’m crossing fingers, toes and anything possible in hopes of it not quitting on me.
I can’t say I’m jealous of the weather in the NE right now, but I guess I’ll get my share of it this coming Monday, when I return.
Also, I’m very fortunate to have such good friends who go above and beyond to help me out while I’m here. Without them my house would have been a solid block of ice by now.
Condolences my friend...sorry to hear this!

It was definitely a coastal storm. I got 14". With the heavy 60mph winds, I have some snow drifts higher than my waist.
Now the Artic Canadian cold is swooping down on us. And you too. Lol

I’ve ground to a halt with the arctic blast. I did manage to get in the barn yesterday and put my 254 together. 15 degrees felt like a heat wave! Today not so much, 1 degree with a 20mph wind is hibernation time. Think I’ll just sit here and feed my pacific energy stove. Starting to think I should’ve saved all the cookies I’ve cut with the way I’m going through firewood. Lol

Me too. Inside reaping the benefits of hard work. I use all the cookies by laying them on top of the flat row of wood in the stove. They work great!

I bet they do. I’m starting to wish I had at least 1 XPG in my line up. I like cutting in the winter, but my hands can only take so much at this temp.

I got a few G models, and they are sweet in the real cold weather. Probably all I'll be running until April, 2163W seeing the most use. Some of the older ones like my 242G and 262G don't get quite as warm as the new ones do. 562G gets real toasty. They all work better in bigger wood cause the longer cut times produce the most heat. Cutting a bunch of small stuff your not really on the throttle enough to generate the heat.
