Shaun is on chainsaw repair group on FB, he may not be a regular here but not stranger danger either. His buddy is just trying to sell some saws and using any options available. To some, registering to a forum is weird. I’m sure we all know someone that feels that way. To me those prices aren’t crazy for the condition and CC offered. His contact info is there, get ahold of him if you’re interested.

I'm on the other side of the world and have a soft spot for solos, I'm not on Facebook either

My only issue is the existing ebay auction for the same saws. I agree that registering for a forum just to make a few sales is a tough one to justify, I find myself in that situation with the HO Model train stuff that we we need to move to help settle mom's estate.

Again, I wouldn't have thought twice about this had not @Adirondackstihl not posted the ebay auction in the 90cc Makita thread the other day.

I totally understand where your coming from on this. I was just helping out a buddy who needs to pay off some stuff in a hurry. It’s killing him tonhve to sell these from his collection but hard times call for hard measures some times. From what i understand he can end the auction even with bids on the auction.

What's the compression like on the solo
Call or text the number in the add, he will be able to get you that info. I only have the photos he sent me so i could post them for him. I have seen and heard both Makita and Solo run.

Replied to you post over on Arborsite, yea they are the same saws, he can end auction even with bids from what i understated.

I don't do a lot of ebay so I am not 100% positive. I know you can cancel a Buy It Now or an Auction without bids but I am pretty sure that ending an Auction with bids is not good.

I believe there is a option when you create the auction where you can end the auction even with bids. I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve been told. I do a lot of buying on eBay but have only sold on there twice.
