I just sent a follow-up email asking about any launch/release dates for the USA & could I order it outside the USA?

Someone on Facebook claimed that a dealer in the US told him this chain is indeed coming to the US. This contradicts best Stihl said so I have no idea if it's true. I don't get why they wouldn't though.

In the mean time.... Who has this already and is willing to play exporter!?!

I contacted my local dealer (NY) and got this reply:

"I went on the Stihl website and I am unable to order that chain at this time. My salesman didn't have any information for me about the availability."

Bump.

This bar & chain was first spotted in customers hands in July in Canada. It's now December and we've had no followup reports from any members, anywhere in the world. What's up with that? Is not not really for sale yet anywhere? Was this just a small pilot release?

Yes exactly, must be some sort of trade off there between Husqvarna and Stihl seeing Husqvarna adapted the Stihl Oil O Matic drive link design onto their C chains.
Confusing pic here of the new 23RS Pro chain chain boxes.
Both are 16" but one has 62DL other 67DL?????

Maybe the 62 link are for 16 inch smaller 3005 mount
