Was thinking of keeping this but I am going to test the waters.

New OEM set of cases with badge from the donor 272 swapped over
NOS non-decomp mahle top end, old box for proof
Nice used fine thread crank and old style clutch
New Oregon 7 pin rim sprocket and drum
Nice tank with new OEM line and fuel pickup
New OEM air filter
New OEM chainbrake setup with decal
Nice used 61 recoil with new 272 decal
Only aftermarket parts are the top cover and muffler.
Top cover has the air horn from the old cover installed
Muffler has the typical aftermarket tube port, but I added a stock port with OEM deflector, no spark arrestor.

I started it for the first time yesterday. Ran very strong and will only get stronger.

Properly vac and pressure tested. All OEM gaskets used, including cylinder gasket.

Here is a video. May not do it any favors but why not. This is the second tank in the saw. 24" full comp buried in 24" of American beach that has dried for 2 or 3 years and is tighter than a pair of wet skinny Jean's

Whitty, Nice saw for sure. I would suggest putting it on Ebay, and raising the price another $50. That will help cover SOME of the fees. GLWS!!
