Looks real nice. I would like to know how good it holds a round. Can you pick up the round with it to place it on a splitter?
This one I made here has no problem holding a round and think its because of the shape of the point.

Will hookaroons roll logs and stuff as you are cutting them or are them more for rounds after they are bucked up?

If the log is not too big/heavy, absolutely you can roll logs for cutting opposite side with a hookaroon. Done it many times with my 30" Logrite hookaroons. Of course their specialty is picking up splits off the ground after they come off the splitter...a big time back saver!

Thanks. Looking for something to roll them. Have a cheap log stand from tractor supply company that said it would go up to 16-18 inch logs I think and it bent the first tree.

There are some cheap ass versions of log stands, cant hooks, peavys, hookaroons out there no doubt. If it doesn't say Logrite on it, I simply look the other way. Little pricier than some, but damn well worth it. I've yet to have any 48"/60" Logrite cant hooks or Peavys with log stands bend or buckle to anything appropriately sized for them...even a few inches bigger than their claimed diameter rating.

Woodchuck mfg'd cant hooks/peavys/hookaroons are quality built as well.
