I just ordered a SENCO PC1010NR, recondtioned from CPO. I did a little research and it seemed solid. This will be my first compressor actually, I mostly will use it just for tires and to blow things out, might run a grinder now and then. I could have had a 4cfm Porter Cable for just a little more, but I don't need to use impact tools that often, and my thinking is that the Senco will last longer.

That's okay, I have a Dremel anyway, just thought a die grinder might do better for some things. I think the portability and less noise will be worth it.

Well I got it in. Pros: small, light and quiet. Cons: very slow. Good to have on in the garage when working just to blow things out (though its easy to run out of steam) without being annoying, or for topping off tires. Conclusion: I think it's perfect for me, not too much because I really don't need to get into a whole system of air tools, and small is a plus.
