I have some oaks I am considering getting removed. Two of which are about 40” in diameter. Most of the local tree crews are booked up so I was wondering if there may be anyone local from here interested in the job. Just need to get them on the ground and then I can take care of the rest.

Still not 100% I want them out, but it will probably be a must soon since one is too close to the house, one is pushing on the house power lines, and another is starting to rot out and looks to be dying. These tree’s locations are beyond what I can do myself.

I will take and add some pics in the morning.

Tree 1 - white oak. About 24" dbh. If the one branch under the powerline was removed, this could be dropped right in my front yard.

Tree 2 - Red oak about 40" dbh. Room to drop it right in my front yard and all the branches are on that side, but the power company removed a large branch years ago and now it has rot all the way to the ground.

Tree 3 - Red oak about 40" dbh. Giant burl at the ground. Too close to the house and lines. Looks like it leans over the house a bit more every year.

And while a crew is at it, I have about 15 oaks in the back yard that need some high hanging dead branches removed .....

I’m in western WI, but I would be willing to drive over to help for a fair price. I don’t know if I can do everything you need done, but I can definitely get the trees on the ground. Let me know if you are at all interested, and we can go from there.

Not too sure I could make it worth your time. You would have two full days of travel and a day of cutting. I am on the east side of Michigan by the thumb.

Tree crews have constant work up here, too... if they’re reputable and priced right.

Last job I helped with should’ve probably been done with a bucket truck. We rented a man lift instead due to short notice (septic going in the next day). Not the best but they’re firewood now.
Good on you guys for helping out.

Very true around here. And with all the micro storms and little tornados the last month or so there are trees down all across the state, so they are extra booked right now.

Brad may have talked me into just pruning tree 1 and 3, but pretty sure tree 2 is going to have to go.
