See Frawley's is the go to guy, he'll spin ya whatever you need and will explain to you the skip vs semi vs full chain.

I run Oregon APX which is a full skip, semi chisel chain on my 24" and 28" bars. Semi chisel because I typically cut dirty logs and full skip because there are less teeth to sharpen at the landing. APX can be a bit tough to find in stock and I haven't found anyone close to me that carries it. Frawley's Saw Shop always has it in stock. He also has a store on Ebay, which is where I usually buy it from. https://www.ebay.com/itm/111830060151

I have some Oregon 72AP which as mentioned by David is semi-chisel full skip chain. If you want to try square ground chain I have it in skip, semi skip and regular sequence.

The owner of Frawley's will give you plenty of information about chains.

Maybe try semi-skip? You'll only lose 1/3 of the cutters instead of 1/2 of the cutters.

I prefer factory type chains, not something that is hacked up. Just me...
If it works for you, keep with it. [emoji106]
