I found an nos tank not to terribly far. It went to a fella in KY.
:worship2: That I believe might be the hardest to find. It’s a large part that most dealers wouldn’t have sitting around.

I’d be happy finding a pretty good condition one. Even happier with a new one.

Tuned in for this. That filter cover looks great. I have a cracked one and I am having a real hard time convincing myself to cut it to fit my @srcarr52 velocity stack and filter

Somewhere Shaun commented using a 288 elbow and V stack I thought. Maybe space saving. I’ll have to dig up that info.

Cutting it like to have the filter fit up thru it ? Instead of running without just the air filter part ?

I just run the v-stack without the filter cover. Nothing under there to really worry about, just blow it out once in a while so it doesn't get packed with chips.

I’ve looked it over real hard a couple weeks, he sent me thorough pics. There’s some corrosion on the tank bottom that I can’t justify the price for. Otherwise it’s a really nice saw, not spotless but really nice.

I do have a pile of parts coming from California in a couple days. Found a retired dealer selling everything off. Bought all of his 2100, 2101 stuff. Lots of little stuff but there is a muffler. Almost $500 worth at list price for a lot less than that.

Been having a hell of a time finding tanks though. Anyone know of a good one?

Here’s some of the stuff. Lots of odds and ends but package deal ya know.

I was unaware the wrist pin bearings and carb guide are still available. I thought I scored with those until I inventoried them.
