That he can not order clutch drums for a Stihl 661. If true, that is about the dumbest freakin' thing I've ever heard. Says he can only order sprockets for it. A clutch bearing went out on my saw, melted to the rim sprocket. Pretty impressive. I didnt know that they could do that!! Lol. Anyway, can I put a 660 clutch drum on it?

Yeah, I saw that too. Wow! Unbeleivable. Its a 1122 clutch drum that was on it. But I want to make sure before I go that way again.

Must be ported too fast and strong for the oem bearing...

1122 007 1000 is a 3/8 7 tooth
1122 007 1001 is a 3/8 8 tooth
1122 007 1002 is a .404 7 tooth
These are the clutch drum and rim kits but do not include the bearing.

I've used both Oregon and Stihl. Quality is very good with both. Prices for genuine Stihl are normally very reasonable at my dealer. Last drum and sprocket kit I bought was just shy of $25.

I stuck an Oregon on my steel (241). Works fine and not married to the limited rim selection I was facing with OEM.

Thanks @Frogfarmer , thats what I wanted to know. I thought so as a 1122 clutch drum was n it, just wanted to make sure. I've got plenty of 3/8 rim sprockets, just need the drum.
