My intro/pic thread

SouthEASTern CA country boy. Run my grandfather’s machine and welding shop. Lots of outdoors, volunteer off road recovery, tree removal in the desert in the winter, mountains in the summer as much as I can. Saws have a been away a few years, CAD bug bit again and have opportunity to make some $ so refurbing them and adding some.

First saw I used was a Mac 130 IIRC. Had trouble with it and threw it away a few years ago. Got sentimental at Christmas and ordered one off of fleabay. Turned out to be junk, got my $ back. Project for some day, maybe this summer when it’s too hot to be outside.

Still cleaning up tree trash. Winching choked bunches up on the tilt trailer. Drive to dump spot, hook to old piece of concrete, drive away. Kinda easy.

Smashed down multiple times with winch cable/pulley. Lots of branches in that load. Straps underneath, chain up to old concrete in the drain, drive away.
