I’d use the muffler with the top outlet and add a @Red97 small deflector on the clutch side.

Mostly I just cut a fish gill back along the side behind the inner baffle.

I've done them like @huskihl mentioned as well as adding a @Red97 to the little pipe outlet ones in the top stock location. Both seem to work about the same, two is always better than one usually.

Looks like I now have everything to get pretty far with putting it together.

OEM cylinder kit
372 intake clamp
Riser from @paragonbuilder
Cylinder screws, the big fine thread original cylinder screws screw into the bottom of the riser okay.
346 muffler bracket
New plug, fuel filter, chain, etc
Waiting on a carb from @Stevetheboatguy but I did end up buying an aftermarket one just in case I need it

Anyone have any suggestions on what else I might need to get??

Same basic bottom plastic in the 340/350. Adding the riser base you are essentially converting it to a 350. If you want to get all crazy nd stuff, give that case a hot bath in some Rit dye.

Keeping the original ones. Bearings are okay and will pressure and vac test once together. I'll have Dan advise me on what sealant to use.

Carb arrived from @Stevetheboatguy the other day so I checked it and just pulled it apart, ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner for an hour, flushed it with brake cleaner and compressed air and reassembled.

Tomorrow I'm getting together with Dan, Jeff (@RI Chevy ) and another guy (didn't catch his name) and I'm going to work on reassembling it.

Just so you know, you won’t be able to tell through his “fixing Huskies” comments, but Jeff’s favorite saw is a Husqvarna 262XP. Don’t let him forget that.
