Need a crankcase for my early 254 Husky. Could maybe get by with a clutch side half....I must have gotten a little too ruff with the old girl.

If ya get stuck I think (Rocketnorton on here) may have one,,at least I think thats where my old one ended up.
I made one saw from two.

So I may have cried wolf a little soon....I was always under the impression that the 254 was a stand alone case because of the different stroke, but appears at least the 262 uses the same case. If so, I should have one....Anyone know if a 257 case can be used?

One bolt hole depth different, and you may or may not have the second bolt hole for the muffler bracket

Looks like I'm ok out of my own stock afterall....I have a good 262 case here and getting ready to make the case swap.....Thanks for the offers and if anything changes I'll be sending PM's.
