650 is the same size as an 064, but with a thicker base. Fits an 064 with no extra work
Sorry if asking silly question.but a 650 cylinder wont fit an 064 correct i heard there diff and piston part numbers are diff.correct me if im wrong
That eas my very next question a new 064 piston cost twice as much as a 650.so my next question would be will it work on an 064 with no problems?i have heard both yes and no.i do know a guy who had a 650 and the top end was bad and my buddy who is stihl master tech put a 660 topend on it .im not sure if he had to modify it or not to make it work
Bolt pattern is different on a 650 that on a 064. The 650 uses 6mm bolts and the 064 uses 5mm bolts. But.........it will fit on a 064 with minimal effort.
Skirt length could be a bit differnt but minimal changes. I wonder what one has more intake timing?Yes sir, I believe we're clear on that. Can this 650 piston be run in place of an 064 piston on an 064
