Picked up a MS460 a while back. Runs really good but with any used saw you always have to wonder what you got. So, I checked squish trough the spark pug hole and found it to be a very disappointing .038...
Tear down to the jug, pull it off recheck with no base gasket and found a very encouraging reading of .022
While I had it apart I snapped a few pics of the jug. Can anyone ID this guy from the pics? Thanks in advance.20180728_124539.jpg 20180728_124522.jpg 20180728_124534.jpg 20180728_124537.jpg 20180728_124526.jpg

No doubt it is aftermarket. I was just hoping for a guess at the brand.

The saw is probably going up for sale and I would like to advertise it as accurately as I can.

Aftermarket for sure and not high quality as it seems.

Horribly shaped combustion chambers and excessive squish are synonymous with aftermarket cylinders.
