Impulse hose must be cut to lengh from hose 0000 930 2803 (hose 3,1x5,7 mm x 1 m, R3). You need a piece with 102mm.

Attention:
The number above this post (1129 141 8600) doesn`t belong to the MS 200, 200T, it is a hose on a TS 460 tank vent.

Edit: 6/21/2017 The hose with part number 1129 141 8600 was used on MS 200, 200T as impulse hose in the past. I`ve should have seen this on the part number starting with 1129, the series of MS 200, 200T. The problem was, I had a look at a newer IPL where a other hose is used. I`m sorry for this fault.

Yes I see. I had a look at a newer IPL. My opinion is: Your picture is from an old IPL and this hose is maybe a pre EPA standart fuel hose that was used in the past and doesn`t meet current permeation guidlines. (I`m not sure but it can be) With EPA standart changes, they switched to a other hose to meet the new guidelines.

so basically the old line worked so they decided to fix it?

At this point saying that this hose was not used on the MS 200, 200T, I was wrong. Excuse me. The IPL I had a look at it showed the other (newer) hose. I really think they switched the hose because of EPA regulations. Somewhere I did read about it.
2012 was the change in all fuel lines. They had to switch to "low permeation" fuel line on anything exposed to the atmosphere. If the hose is "low permeation" it should have markings on it labeling it as epa line....

this is the 965452660 Dolmar, its the only "low permeation" line i have other than some of the Echo fuel line kits that contain it. The Echo line is tough to see but its marked EPA

I thought I would add a success story to this thread. I have now repaired and restored two Stihl MS200T chainsaws. That work included a complete replacement of the piston, rings, cylinder, carb, impulse hose, fuel lines, etc. Both now run fine, but they were getting ready to be junked by the owner. The dealer's mechanic wrecked the cylinders on both of them by stripping the spark plug threads. He was consistent in that effort.

I must admit that this was not an easy task. These saws get beat up in the trees. The belt hook and its assembly are way too weak. Wait a minute, my post was supposed to be positive.
