That make two of us now
Great pics there’s Alex thanks for sharing, has it woken up yet
I like that Australia gets the deep chain cover and dual spikes standard.
FINALLY, we get something to half make up for the crazy pricing.
My saw is sitting in the garage, gathering dust.
After drought conditions for the last 6 to 12 months where we forgot what rain was, its rained every day since I got my new 462 which prevents access to the property where I cut which is red clay soil.
And the longer it sits there, the less likely it is to get its first run stock... its just lucky I have a few other builds on the go at the moment
Hard to say objectively... I’ve been in love with this saw since the first cut. Have put about 8-10 tanks through it now. She goes! Not sure if she’s already woke or not...
at our stealer we get the 20" light bar but and there is a but the price is $1980 odd
Shop around mate!
Bit hard at the moment with them new on the market but its worth ringing around and asking whats your best price!
She still running stock mate?
I'm considering pulling the muffler to ditch the baffle and open it up a bit before I get it dusty.... if it ever dries up enough to get out for a run
Does anyone have even a theory on why they did the odd shaped exhaust on the 462?
Well, it lowers the floor, raises the roof, and mates to the tall baffle in the can. Has to be all about flow....
When I first looked at it, I just wanted to figure out a way to make it look "normal" again, but instead I just worked with what was there.
Are you finding significant gains in the 462 Randy
I'm thinking someone should buy this carbureted version from me and send it to Scott.
The only think I could think of was to increase flow combined with the new vertical opening baffle they are using.
That would bump power but keep sound levels down.
I cant think of s single advantage once that baffle is removed.
My plan is to ditch the baffle and open the outlet somewhat, matched with a high flow screen.
Then square out the exhaust port and see if it makes any difference.
Id be interested to know if Scott tested muffler mod on its own or went further but he never seems to want to talk to a silly Aussie who just has the odd simple question
$1150 USD shipped is the ad price.
