    Thank you for posting this in such a way to make me think. I learn much better this way than just being told.
    I’ve been planning to use this method on my 262 build. Now I have more information to help me!

    By this you mean

    1) all 4 openings are flat, not V shaped like oem?
    2) the primaries crack open all at once, left and right
    3) when primaries open, they shoot in flat across the piston, not roof angled up
    4) secondaries open a couple degrees later, all at once, and roof is not angled up

    In addition to using JB to correct entry direction; would it also be helpful to raise the secondaries a bit so they get a better push of crank case pressure? Not sure what your stagger number is but let’s say for example it’s 3*, maybe raise the primaries a degree to shorten the stagger just a little.

    He would need to raise the secondaries for less stagger. Primaries open ahead of the secondaries right now

    I have 7 deg of stager right now, i'm going to try less stager first.

    so I can't get ahead of myself here. I epoxied the intake last night, ground it to where I think it need to be. no other changes. vid loading. I know the ex needs to go up. will change that next. then transfers.

    Is that before or after opening up the muffler and how much if any does that affect the wash?

    Is this at least partially a product of the exhaust delayed scavenging and maybe it's being exacerbated by the opened up exhaust/muffler?

    good point I ported it new out of the box
    I think it more the shape of the port tunnel and back corner
