Which saw is the strongest after a woods port? If your experience with these saws are only in stock form I'd also like to hear your response. I'd really like to hear from the members that have milled with these models.

Never run any ported but used 3120's and 084's alot and a little bit with an 088 , theres just something about 084's that sets them apart especially the latest model ones with the ht7a carb and one piece unlimited coil , 3120's are nice to use apart from the weight im always shocked at how good the av is on those saws , i like that unique jet ski sound as well

Randy would be a good person to answer this one- I personally like the 3120 due to the anti-vibe, but running the 084 seems to be the most "operator friendly," especially when milling. The outboard clutch on the 3120 is better though on the motor for milling as it keeps some heat away from the case. Ported though I'd go for the MS-880.

Like Jason said- the 395 is a real animal ported and would likely do most of the big jobs you need.

it was useful for cutting a lot of firewood at once! lol

but yeah I completely agree. It flexes sooo much it's hard to do much of anything with it. I did figure out rather quickly it was easier to just carry the saw with two hands. One hand placed under the bar and one on the handle bar. With the saw off of course.

Glad I didn't buy it! lol

well the tree monkeyed ported 880 pulled a 6' bar full comp .404 RS pretty good :)

RSLF (full skip square ground) made the engine sound better....keep rpms up. That's what I use on my 660. Works good noodling too.

You got a hell of a deal on it. I almost bought it 2 years ago just to have in case.
I know... And I can't sell it!!!
It's too rediculous to just have hangin on the shop wall.. It's like having an 090G..
No use.. Just look at it and get it out once in a while..
I can noodle a whole table top in one cut..

10 cube 090 would be the only one I'd want. Be more than a cheap truck probably

You could actually make your own ten-cube 090 for cheaper than buying one (or close). I was playing around with the idea of having an old jug converted to a removable head and bored out to 68mm.

Speaking of which I wonder if anyone was successful with that 090 jug, with an 084 rod on a 3120 .Sounds crazy I know but those who talked about have been very successful in a lot of hybrid modifications .
On that over bore where in the world would you find a 68 MM piston,WISCO maybe? That would cost an arm and a leg.
