I wish that I had an 066 but I do have a 661 that I bought new. Had some issues in the beginning but now that it has all the updated electronics on it I love that thing. Just the other day cold start one pull at 10 below! Sorry for for my rant I went a little off topic here.

No hate here..we all like what we like..but I still haven't experienced these issues you keep bringing up about my Hooskies :D

To date the only saw I have ever dealt with that had a wallered out cylinder cover screw hole was.....drum roll please.....a Stihl 038 Super!!

066 660 for me.husky guys are gonna hate me again but no worn out screws on cylinder covers on the stihl no goofy chain adjuster in the clutch cover thats broke, no outbound clutch.ftw
I’d take the outboard clutch for stumping. Less potential heat in the cases and bearing. 395 has a side chain tensioner. Takes a little longer to mount bar and chain with outboard, but not that bad.
