Depends on how much manly food I eat. Red meat, hot peppers, whiskey...gotta make those swimmers tough.

mtn dew, man, mtn dew

I think as long as gas is fresh and mixed 40:1 or richer with air cooled rated 2 cycle not outboard oil and tuned properly it's all good imo.

but I like boat oil

The 395 runs again! The bearings freed up after soaking in oil and many flushes with mix. Oem cylinder kit. On to the other one...
Those bearings sounded a bit rough in the video. Did you replace them?
A good set of bearings will be nearly silent.

They quieted down after lube and soak in oil, the oil pump and clutch were also still on and contributed to the noise, there was no play in bearings either. Tight.

395/94 will vibrate handlebars when set down, it's the AV system resting on something solid. Very smooth saw.

I'd have to agree Mason those bearings are making some noise. Honestly I've heard some much worse that lasted years but if it has a new top end I wouldn't chance it. You know how easy they are to disassemble

Pretty well proved the noise was the oil pump gears and clutch drum spinning, I hit those moving parts with wd 40 to see if that was noise and it was. There was no gritty feeling turning over flywheel by hand either. No play in rod bearing either. Pretty confident this saw is 100%. Runs and tunes/sounds great. It would have been impossible for strap on to reuse the bearings as they blew previously, I shined a led light right at bearings and looked over them real good. Surfaces looked good and clean. Most of the mix that came out from flush was carbon from running 15 tanks through saw before old topend reared its scored condition and trashed the piston. I trust bearings they were pretty well silent lubed.

Ok if you say so. Good luck
