For the record the saw was ran on red armor 40:1 and the inside was slathered in thick layer of oil everywhere. So I know it wasn't the oil or gas mix causing scoring.

Looks to be no cracks around the small chip. I'm thinking of just *f-wordin running it. I got a 395 cylinder for it. What do you guys think? The bearings are good fortunately. I'm thinking on it. Looking closer at it its not a chip it's a small ding from when supposed bearing cage failed on it and probably hit it.

@huskyboy Mason I think the crank will be ok, pull the seals and flush out the crankcase real well, clean up the Jug, new meteor 395 piston and a new set of seals and run her.
