Man I need to get back on this. Would like to build a stroker with an 066 crank & a 390/4/5 top end. Kevin did you ever run any other carbs on these?

Nope I am back to all stock stuff. So never looked any further into it.

I have no clue on these. So just a WAG = somebody might want to look into the bigger 066 carbs. Maybe maybe not. No clue.

Been gardening these last couple of evenings and mowing yards after work :(. I hope to get back in this first 475 and do some more grinding soon.

No video to show yet but I got some run time Sunday afternoon in Red Oak. I'll say this @Cut4fun you were right. That baffle plate is certainly not needed.

I have fallen in love with the 475.

Your supposed to say they suck and are lame. You know to keep the value down.

Would love to see some other folks 475/505 mods/builds. I sent the 475/505/2077/2083 builders/saws I had to DDave. I’ve never heard if they became all out race saws or what happened to them.

Sold all my NOS 76.5cc 475 cylinders and piston kits, even the used 475 cylinder. I just like the 70.7cc 445 cylinders that much better. Building #3 445 now.

I would one day love to build another 475/505 variety. I had lots of good parts and could’ve really done some playing. At one time had big plans for this saw that this thread started with. Was building a lot of 064/066’s at the time and just sort of lost interest in the 475.
