Started as a new 665, was sent straight to Randy and got a new 7910 top end and 272xp unlimited coil conversion. I swapped the Dolmar 7900 full wrap handle and pro safety spikes onto the saw and ran about a tank of fuel through it. I need money for another project, so I'm selling off some saws. $1100 PHO plus shipping from Northern California.

Not as much as I would like, unfortunately...

Same here. I can't cut anything! Im so far ahead on my split seasoned oak firewood that Im burning it in the middle of my yard in bonfires. I bet Ive burned somewhere north of 40 wheelbarrows full this week. Had a fire going since last week. I can't bring anything else home until this is gone. Tried selling it dirt cheap by the truck load on craigslist with not a single bite. At least in the yard Im enjoying a fire and just maybe will get to process some new wood this winter.

I traded it without ever starting it for his 440/46 hybrid. I have no regrets!
If im reading correctly that solo was yours and you traded it for a 044 460 hybrid.how you like your hybrid who built it.thats next saw goin out. Thanx

Every saw I have had ported or bought ported was MMWS. Works out good bc I can drop off and pick up. I was thinking about that hybrid today, it just feels right in the hand. Probably better than any saw I have owned. I had a 10mm 044 for 10 plus years before I ever discovered AS. Was my only saw and I cut a ton with it. Probably why the model feels so comfortable to use.

Randy built that 440 hybrid. I sent him an 046 cylinder, and a heavier flywheel off a 10mm 044. I ran it side by side with my MMWS 7900, and the Dolmar spanked it powerwise. Honestly, I would be happy with any of the ported 70+cc saws I've had (7900, 440/046, 2171, or this Solo) as my only saw. They are all awesome.

I could see were the dolmar would win its 80 cc verses 77 cc .i need to prchase a dolmar though cuz everyone who has one loves them. One of the things holding me back is an 064 is 85 cc and a tad lighter then the 7900 dolmar i love my 064 in fact im building another as i speak

I can't stand the vibes from the 064/066 saws. 7900/Solo is so much smoother to run.

Me neither. Did not like my 064 for the vibes. Was it a beast- hell ya, but I couldn't get past the tingle.

Lot newer technology. On domar then you could just go. To 661c good antivibes 10 more cc than the 7900 and only be 3/4 lb heavier imo thanx.although id love to run a dolmar and give it a fair shake.
