    What chain is recommended and how to sharpen it. The bar is a Stihl 36" 114 link.

    Your looking for rippng chain . Semi chisel with a top cutter angle of 10 degrees .

    Another .404 user ,it wont stretch like 3/8 , grind it at 10-15 degrees ,it will oil that 36 inch bar better also.
