I have also burned about one and a half tons of pellets less so far this winter, which I like. Should be warm for the next week I hope!

Old fellow here at work claims it is going to snow next week. Looking at the forecast it doesn't look like it will get cold enough.

Spring is coming! Grass is starting to green up and grow and the clover is popping out. Spent about 4 minutes looking and found 2 small 4 leaf clovers.

It's the second week in march and we are under a tornado watch tonight. The storms are rolling through and the winds have been blowing 20-30 all day. High winds predicted for the next couple days as well. Now for the weekend into Monday and Tuesday they are talking snow. It was in the 60s here today

Think we're getting it all out west this year guys. Haven't had this much snow pack in the Sierra in 22 years!

20170316_052702-1.jpg Woke up this morning to a 24° temperature. I got home from work this afternoon and everything that had budded out like my fruit trees, all the leaves were shriveled up and are dying from the freeze.

Had to bring this back from the dead. Just was looking at the weather channel app and they were showing Winter alerts for Texas and Mexico. They showed one area of Mexico expecting 12-18 inches of snow. They call it global warming but I call it a shift in the jet stream. Here in Minnesota the ground is barely white the first week of December but where it’s supposed to be warm and sunny they are getting snow.

Sorry rant over

I spoke with a friend of mine, in San Antonio, earlier today.
She said there were traffic accidents everywhere and several major highways were closed completely. All from 1 1/2 inches of snow. The first snow in San Antonio since 1984.
