McCulloch Mac 10 10 Automatic coil

Guys....trying to get hold of an ignition coil for an old Mac 10 10.....a bit like hen's teeth......does anyone know if coils from any later models will fit and work in the old machine? I'm in Ireland, and while there are a few Mac 10 10 parts available from the States, postage is prohibitively expensive.
