McCulloch 125 with piston ported intake?

Lots of piston ported Rotax's were built, just have to go back a little farther in time to the 60's and 70's.

This 250 looks like a 272 inside. 1971

This 294SS looks like a 372 inside. 1974


Back when I was young and wanted to go fast a Blizzard with a 454 RV engine was the ticket. Even a 600 triple couldn't beat it to the other end of the lake. Amazing two stroke technology from the past. Chainsaws are just barely into the development stage yet in comparison. Lol

How fast was that thang Mang?

On a good day, on the lake with the wind at your back....95-100...tops.
Was scary fast from 20-80

My current sled from 1978 is piston ported. Takes off good but top end is lacking. Which is good for as narrow as it is, and handling poorly.
