I'm seeing a lot of Maxflow love on this site. What are the actual pro's vs. con's, specifically on a ported MS461. Real world experience would be great. FWIW, I'm like a 5 cord a year firewooder, who happens to enjoy running hopped up saws, but definitely no professional logger/arborist, or saw racer. Thanks in advance.

Pros are better filtration and a lot longer intervals between cleaning. Might flow a little better. For 5 cords a year I doubt you'd notice much improvement. I've never run a 461, but my 460 never failed to impress me with how fast it'd fill the filter pleats with sawdust. If I was running it daily I'd pick up the maxflow setup just so I didn't have to mess with it every time I gassed up.

Maxflo filters definitely flow much more air. I have them on 460 and 660. You gotta be sure to re-tune the saw as well, unless it is M-Tronic. Definitely worth the money as far as I am concerned.
