For sale is a MMWS 066.

Randy did this saw for me 3 years ago. It’s got less than 5 gallons of mix through it.

Randy put a NIB OEM 660 P&C on it at the the time and added bananas. Case was split and new bearings/seals/gasket installed. New handle bar cover. New brake handle. New elastostart. New WJ69. The piston remains perfect and the last I checked compression was 190psi.

The bad, a small crack in the airbox cover, jam nuts on both of the top muffler bolts, an OEM 056 bar stud used to repair one of the bar studs that pulled. It has a standard chain catch but dual AM spikes. The plastic is faded, it looks better than it actually is in the pics.

Saw idles, runs, oils as it should.

Comes with extra custom cover Randy did for me, lol.

Asking $800 plus shipping FIRM. CONUS only.

We dyno’d this saw at the CT GTG 2 years ago.

There was a JMS066 there that made more peak power than it did. We strapped this saw on the dyno and Bill Corey said “that’s a Randy saw”. The saw had a torque curve so flat you could sleep on it. It made the most overall power under the curve of all the 066 we tested that day.

So it’s got a wide ass powerband and isn’t peaky.

If anyone looking at this has any reservations about buying from the doc, you have no worries.

One of the best guys around to do business with and a pretty darn good builder as well. Fairly rare combo these days.

C'mon boys! Buy yourself a Christmas present!

You said it Mark. You should buy it for yourself, I don't think your wife would care. That would look good in your stable.

I'd get it but I already dumped alot of coin into a complete restoration on my 066 that I still need to make a thread on.
Heck all the new parts that I put into it I have almost enough good used parts to build a good 066 work saw. I just pretty much need a case, crank and piston.

I am pressing all my pennies I have and hoping that they double, so finally I can purchase this saw. Especially since I'm headed back to Santa Cruz shorty. Maybe if I entice my best friend & employer with thee 'olde "hug n' tug" from a licensed specialist on dem there ads on Craigslist.... I'd increase the chances!?
