Two cases halves were uneven. 372.

Now they are even. Dropped the case ny 45 thou. 30 thou poppup. Base gasket delete. We will see how it works. Used my kids play doh for keeping the chips out the crank.

Not cutting squishband. These hyway cylinders are plated all the way up. Might as well leave them alone.

The oem ones arent....so cutting the band makes good sense...

I'm not mm level yet....but it runs nice :)

Only 180 psi comp to start with an .030 popup...but it cuts like a lazer beam ...

Oh...and it's got a Poleman 30/35 zama carb on it :)

I know that oem bb cylinder is desireable....but I'm pretty convinced that I just prefer the 50mm ones.

Some of the 52mm aftermarket jugs I've seen are very good.

I used to lack confidence in the pistons, but they seem to be much better now.

I have anot her 372 project and a huztl 52mm ...maybe that'll be next.

I'm collecting too many saws at this point though.

Is your 372 running yet?

Not yet. I had so much stuff apart that I had to stop and put some saws together, and do a bunch of mufflers.

I've got the 372 jugs done, and will get it back together today.

That's cool Dallas, I didn't know you liked chainsaws. Welcome to a great group of people that share your interest. Sometimes people get hung up on the popularity of Stihl and miss out on the superior other brands like Husqvarna. They are lesser known and rely on their proven quality and performance for sales, instead of mass marketing and sponsorship of logging events like Stihl does. You should check them out, I bet you'd be surprised.

You've been drinking the Bong Water Again, Haven't You.
