Couple years ago I was helping a guy drop one like that. He got into the back cut and about 20 gallons flooded his chaps. Had a crotch about 10' up and everything was hollow below it. Rain water had filled it to the top

I had a big cottonwood do this a few years back. It was like a fountain coming out of it. Full grown cottonwood can drink 1000 gallons of water a day.
