SOLD Makita 7901 (6401 w/ 7910 P&C)

Getting ready to move, going to be posting up several saws in the next few weeks.

This is a Makita 6401 with a new Dolmar 7910 piston and cylinder, squish set at .020" with Felpro paper gasket. Two tanks of fuel through it; starts, idles, oils and runs like it should, actually a little stronger than the average 7900. I replaced the filter cover at the same time as the P&C kit to freshen up the look.

Some people are stuck in there ways, happy with what they have or just can’t afford to buy another saw right now. It’s either one of those 3 things.

This saw already has the 7910 top end so all it needs is some port work and you won’t need another saw. If Jeff only knew what he was missing

There really just a round husky with stihl fasteners. Other than having to order parts online... which come in within a week... I don’t see a major downside to them unless the person just prefers a husky or stihl in the hands.
