Low hour MS 460 locks up

I have this 460 here and the owner says it has locked up on him a couple times. I suspect crank bearings but before I crack it open I'd like some input from you guys.

Anyone ever seen this that wasn't bearing related?

It's a homeowner saw with low hours (just going on looks). Piston is perfect from what I can see with a nice slick coating of oil.

So what say you?[emoji4]

I had a 026 with an aftermarket jug on it loose a wrist pin retainer and the wrist pin finally snagged a transfer port and things grenaded.

Maybe I should have worded that differently Dallas.

It has only been used by a homeowner. Here's the saw.

pull rope locks up sometimes the pulley gets wore and rope goes under the pulley i dont see it being much
That was a thought I had as well. I'll start there. I really can't see this thing being worn out by the looks of it.

locked up running or while pull starting?
